Description
Large central laboratory for the entire SADARA Facilities in Jubail including the following:
110 Fume Hoods in four major laboratories.
Variable volume flow controls using Phoenix flow control valves, tracking controls, diversity alarms, room pressure monitoring and continuous maintenance of pressure relationship of laboratories with adjacent areas.
Centralized laboratory exhaust systems.
Chiller plant.
We performed the following roles:
Performed the role of contractor’s technical consultant to review the design drawings specification and contract documents and provided valuable input in the original design performed by Fluor–Houston.
Developed detailed shop drawings based on the selection of final equipment including the selection of 100% OA air handling units, Phoenix control valves, and Energy recovery systems.
Exhaust systems complete with high-plume dilution laboratory exhaust fans with capacities of 60,000 to 65,000 CFMs.
Performed construction/site supervision support.
Performed the role of commissioning consultant for the commissioning of the lab systems particularly balancing / commissioning of Phoenix flow control valves system, tracking controls, room pressure monitoring, temperature control and overall control systems.
