Hadeed District Cooling Plants (Group of SABIC): Commissioning Consultancy

Description

We were the client’s technical consultant in performing all the activities right from the very beginning of the project until commissioning including detailed engineering, site supervision, and commissioning support and involved in the performance enhancement of the plant.

• District cooling chiller plant with a cooling capacity of 25000 TR. 5 sets of 5000 TR chiller modules. Each set consists of 2 x 2500 TR chillers arranged in series-counter-flow arrangement. The control system is PLC based on industrial-grade control systems
• 20,000 Ton-Hours TES (Thermal Storage tank). We have also performed the detailed design of the diffusers for TES.
• Stress analysis of chilled water piping.
• Around 11 ETS stations with capacities ranging from 600 TR to 6000 TR. Performed site supervision of the complete plant.
• Commissioning consultancy role.
• The plant is currently in operation for around eight years successfully
